Handheld Ultrasound

Ultrasound massage reaches into the skin. Ideal for delivering a massage to larger areas: upper arms, thighs, waist, hips, and calves. Pulsed ultrasound (not continuous emission) delivers the energy more gently.

Handheld units emit ultrasound waves at a frequency of a million vibrations per second (1 MHz). Ultrasound reaches deep layers, warms and stimulates cell activity, for a glowing, firmer, more youthful beauty.  It improves the absorption of moisture & nutrients from cosmetic products, providing a gentle exfoliation to improve the skin’s appearance, tone and elasticity.

Thermal effects are excellent for pain relief, alleviating and softening scar tissue while improving lymph flow, accelerating healing and topical product penetration.

Phonophoresis: which is the use of ultrasound to drive medications or topical products into the skin. The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery recently stated: "New skin care product formulations, used in conjunction with ultrasound, will allow for deeper penetration of topically applied rejuvenating agents into the skin, resulting in significantly improved aesthetic results." This is accomplished by the combined mechanical piston like effect of ultrasound and the altering of cell permeability. This process does not alter the chemical composition of the topical and is pleasant for the patient.

Ultrasound stimulus is non-invasive and very safe to administer. The product will almost evaporate into the skin after the head of the Ultrasound tool is lightly rubbed onto the skin. As well as assisting with penetrating product into the skin surface, Ultrasound has been proven to assault cellulite nodules and adipose cells, that due to the mechanical-thermal effect of ultrasound, are dissolved and therefore easily expelled by the organism.  The perfect combination of ultrasound's continuous current is what enables the skin to increase it's elasticity. This procedure is used for 10 to 15 minutes.

Microcurrent

Bi-Polar Interferential:
This stimulus provides a much needed increase in blood and lymph circulation. The Interferential current works with the client's body to stimulate the abdomen, thigh and buttock muscles. It also promotes cell rejuvenation and helps tone and tighten the skin. Unhealthy and damaged skin cells begin to resonate at the same healing rate as healthy, young cells. A client can expect a 40% or more increase in levels of collagen and elastin due to this stimulus. Each skin cell vibrates, expels toxins, re-establishes a potassium-sodium exchange and re-oxygenates allowing the skin to be cleansed and moisturized. Finally, the muscle stimulation increases the metabolic rate and improves circulation, which in turn reduces cellulite build-up while detoxifying the body. This stimulus is given in a 10-15 minute intervals.

Microcurrent:
Mixed microcurrents act as a detoxifying flush to the body's lymphatic system removing unwanted wastes as well as offering other benefits to the client. The feather-like electrical current causes healthy electrical charges at the cellular level, which increases cellular activity. This enhanced cellular activity causes a 500% increase in ATP production, the bodies own chemical energy.
